These terms apply to everyone who uses SchoolOS: schools, their staff and teachers, and parents. SchoolOS is run by [legal name and city] ("we"). By using SchoolOS you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

1. What SchoolOS is

SchoolOS lets a school share attendance, homework, notices, exams, marks, report cards and timetables with parents, through a mobile app for teachers and parents and a web console for the school office.

2. The school's responsibilities

3. Using SchoolOS properly

You may use SchoolOS only for school purposes. You must not:

The school or we may remove content or access that breaks these rules.

4. What we do

5. Fees

Teachers and parents use SchoolOS free. Schools pay the yearly fee agreed with us, per enrolled student. Pilot schools use SchoolOS free for the agreed period. Fees and payment dates are set out in the school's agreement or invoice.

6. Ownership

The school owns the information it puts in SchoolOS. We own the SchoolOS software, name and design. A school that stops using SchoolOS can ask for an export of its information, which we provide before deleting it as described in the privacy policy.

7. Limits of our responsibility

SchoolOS is a tool for the school; decisions about attendance, marks, results and communication are the school's. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to a school for any claim is limited to the fees that school paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Ending use

A school can stop using SchoolOS at the end of its paid period. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously broken or fees are not paid, after telling the school and giving it a reasonable time to fix the problem.
