Questions schools ask

Do parents need a smartphone?

The app works on any Android phone from the last 6 to 7 years and on iPhones. Parents without a smartphone keep getting the school's usual SMS or calls.

How long does setup take?

Most schools are live in a day: upload your student list from Excel, add teachers, and parents log in with their registered mobile number.

Will teachers get messages at night?

No. The school sets reply hours, for example 2 pm to 7 pm. Outside those hours parents cannot send replies.

Can we use our own report card format?

Yes. The report card shows your school's name, subjects, marks, grades (CBSE or marks only), remarks and signatures. Send us your current card and we will set ours up as close to it as we can.

Who owns the data?

Your school. We store it in India, use it only to run SchoolOS, and delete it if you leave.
